昨日は、ワシントンからニューヨークに到着、共同通信のインタビューのあと、２手に別れ、私はデンマーク大使館主催の　”In　Eternity”　(１００万年後の安全）の外交官向け上映会へ、他のみんなは、”Knocking On　The　Devil's　Door”（悪魔のドアを叩いて）のオープニングとパネルディスカッションへ。どちらも原発に関する映画です。「１００万年後の安全」の監督も来ていて、話す機会がありました。今年の１２月に来日予定だそうです。今日の国連原発安全性に関するハイレベル会議の開催中に、国連本部で上映しようとデンマーク国連大使が努力したそうですが、実現しなかったそうです。今朝、今野田総理が、「さらなる原子力の安全をめざして」、この会議でスピーチをしているところです。ところで、日本より、日本政府内で、福島産の農産物の缶詰を購入して、途上国に食糧援助として送ろうという予算申請をしているという情報が入っています。

これから、記者会見、１２：００より一般向けオープン報告会、１７：００から、国連前にてデモを予定しています。

Dear everyone,

We arrived in NY yesterday, after an interview by Kyodo Press, we were divided into two. I went to a film “ In Eternity” organised by Denish Embassy for diplomats, and the rest to another film “Knocking on devil’s door” opening and a panel discussion that followed. The director of “In Eternity” was there and we had some discussions. He will visit Japan in Dec. It was hoped that the filme should be screened at the UN during the high level meeting but did not work out. There is a high level meeting on nuclear power safety at UN today. Prime minister Noda should be giving a speech at this moment. We shall have a press conference followed by a public meeting at 12:00, then at 17:00 demonostration in front of UN building.
Please note that Japanese government may approve a budget for purchasing Fukushima produced processed food for food aid to developing countries.　A new struggle added.
